MUSICAL THEATRE INTENSIVE

Our Musical Theater Intensive camp will explore the multiple disciplines of musical theatre through classes in singing, dancing, and acting as well as special workshops. It will conclude with a cabaret-style showcase to share their talents. The show is designed around the talents of the students in order to give EVERY student their moment to shine! Our Musical Theatre Intensive is intended for students in grades 6 through college with a special apprentice program for advanced students in grades 11 and up. Students are grouped by level.
JUNIOR VISUAL
ARTS CAMP
LEBANON, NJ
This camp is open to students entering grades 3 through 8 with a love of art. To help students build their technique and develop their style, students will participate in a variety of classes such as sculpture, photorealistic drawing, acrylic painting, mixed media, and/or watercolor painting. All artwork created during the summer program will be on display at the conclusion of the program. Please see below for more details.
JUNIOR MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP
LEBANON, NJ
Our Junior Musical Theater Camp will introduce the students to the arts of singing, dancing, and acting. They will also have classes in audition technique as well as an introduction to the behind-the-scenes work in theatre such as set design, costume design, and more. The camp is designed for students who are looking for a strong foundation and introduction to musical theatre. It will conclude with an informal performance showcasing their talents.
Musical Theatre Intensive

APPRENTICE PROGRAM:
This program is open to our advanced students entering grades 11, 12, and/or college. Apprentices will receive training from our special workshops, have a featured role in our showcase, and will be given special artistic leadership opportunities to direct and mentor our students. There are only a few spots available. Please contact us if you are interested in this special program. Former/current students will not need to audition but, new students will be asked to send an audition video for evaluation.

Junior Visual Arts Camp
REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
Our Junior Visual Arts Camp is designed to help students build their technique and develop their style. Students will attend a variety of classes such as sculpture, portraiture, photorealistic drawing, acrylic painting, mixed media, printmaking, and/or watercolor painting.
WHO:
Open to all students entering 3rd through 8th grade in September 2024. (*open to enthusiastic 2nd graders who like a challenge). Students will be divided into groups based on age and level.
*Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Space is limited!

June 24-28th (Monday-Friday)
1:00 PM- 3:30 PM
*Students who attend both the Junior Musical Theatre and Art Camps will have lunch from 12:30-1:00 PM.

SAMPLE CLASSES FROM PAST YEARS
*Classes will vary daily based on pieces. These courses are tentative and subject to change.*
Portraiture: Students acquire knowledge of facial proportions and create a realistic portrait of an animal or person. The variety of media offered includes oil pastel, chalk pastel, colored pencil, and acrylic paint.
Printmaking: Students explore design with textures, patterns, and motifs through the art of printmaking.
Photorealistic Drawing: In this class, campers will use graphite pencils and learn shading and drawing techniques to create a realistic drawing on the subject of their choice.
Sculpture: Students work in the third
dimension with found materials, cardboard, papier-mâché, or clay.
Watercolor Painting: Thinking about a favorite vacation spot? In this class, campers will learn various watercolor painting techniques and will create polaroid size paintings of a spot they’d like to visit.
Mixed Media: In this class, campers will create a collage using magazines, newspapers, various recycled materials if they’d like as well as painted sheets of paper. Campers will focus on and learn about how to create a cohesive composition, how to create movement with the placement of their items as well as how to color mix to match a specific color.
